1. Meter the Background by pressing the (green button)2. Guess on flash exposure (sunny and on them, MORE flash. shady on them, maybe less flash)
3. Take a shot with flash first, and see how it looks.
4. Compensate if too light or dark with f/n brightness button
5. Take a shot without flash to compare
This is what i'm practicing. Every great photographer needs a flash. now, i always HATED flash because it looks so harsh and you can't capture all those candid moments. but the picture looks so much better with it. so, no matter how much i struggle to get this down, i'm GOING to get this down. i have a photoshoot tomorrow with whitney, addie, and kyle...so we'll see how it goes!!
