Short and Sweet

As well as taking my vitamins for the past 3 days, i've been practicing quite a lot! Luxembourg is an absolutely dreamlike town and i've loved every minute being here! I don't have all night, since its already 11 40 pm and i have a concert really early tomorrow...but i thought i might fill you in a little bit. I am staying at Hotel Petry, which is a really quaint hotel located right in the middle of the town so everything is in walking distance...it also has a pleasant pizzeria restaurant downstairs that i enjoyed eating at my first night. I thought i might be adventurous and not be picky for once. The waitress came and i pointed to one of the pizzas. I'll take that one please! Everything on the menu was in Luxembourgish, so i couldn't understand a word. yes it is a language. I learned how to say Hi. Im not sure how to spell it but its pronounced, Moyer, with a roll on the r at the end. my food came out about  25 minutes later and i was thinking...geeze, what did i order!! As i was sitting by myself watching the sunset of Vianden, my pizza had arrived. Now, i don't know about you...but i've never ever had an EGG on my pizza. I had found out after eating it, hesitantly, that i ordered bacon, egg, and onion pizza. :O ! Here's the thing...i ate half of it..telling myself with every bite "you are in Vianden, Luxembourg and you probably wont ever be here again." and "you only live once", but i couldn't finish it. I guess the people here have humongous appetites because when my waiter came around to see how i was doing, she looked super surprised i didn't finish it! I felt bad, so i asked for a box reassuring her that i would eat it later that night! Its still on my floor by my suitcase. haha Its just not...my type of pizza. But sitting at that restaurant was such a special moment. I pulled an, Eat Pray Love moment, because i was by myself and i was so content with what i was doing, where i was, what i was seeing, smelling, hearing...etc. i was sitting inside the low lit hotel, watching everyone outside. (the pizzeria continued outside) This little family sitting across from me was so cute. The couple had a little boy and he was running around the restaurant. It didn't bother anyone because it wasn't that full inside and everyone treats the people they know like family. my waiter and that particular family would just be talking for so long! i sometimes got impatient, but then realized at what a cool thing to experience. i could tell they were speaking french, for french and german/luxembourgish is so different. The people here, i've learned, knows english, luxembourgish, and german for sure. everyone i've met knows way more though. anyway, the little boy was so funny when he came running back to his mom and dad. he passed me, and as he did, he was such a young gentleman. i was just sitting there smiling at him and he took his left hand and placed it behind his back and then threw his right hand in the air and twirled it down and he bowed to me. He pretended to take his hat off and then he said something in french to me with a smile on his face! He then ran away. That completed my day. Ah what an amazing moment. Oh, i'm not really good at this short and sweet thing. I've only wrote about my first few hours in Vianden after flying all day. This is my 3rd day here and so much has happened. I hope you stay tuned for tomorrow! I will write more. For now, Ta Ta!
